Privacy Policy

This policy explains how K-Remix (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit k-remix.com. K-Remix is operated by DRAWRY PTY LTD, based in New South Wales, Australia. We aim to handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and, for visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the GDPR and UK GDPR.

Summary

  • You can use K-Remix without an account, and we don’t ask for your name or email address.
  • We measure visits with Google Analytics 4, which uses cookies. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, it doesn’t set cookies unless you consent.
  • We don’t show ads or use affiliate links yet. If we start, this page will be updated first, and advertising cookies in the EEA, UK and Switzerland will run only after you consent.

Hosting and server logs

K-Remix is a set of static pages served by Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. We don’t run our own servers or databases and we don’t receive these details.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read and how people find them. It uses cookies to measure visits, pages viewed, how you arrived (for example from a search engine or social media), and your approximate location and device type. We don’t send your name, email or other identifying details to Google, and Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. For visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics runs in consent mode: it sets no cookies and sends only limited, cookieless signals unless you give consent in a consent message. You can also install Google’s opt-out add-on.

Search, feeds and calendars

When search is available, it runs in your browser: what you type is not sent to us. RSS and calendar feeds need no personal information. We don’t offer email subscriptions yet; if we add them, we will say here which provider stores subscribers’ email addresses.

Advertising

We don’t show ads yet. When we do, they will be served by Google AdSense, and the following will apply:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.

  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. You can also visit www.aboutads.info or, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu.

  • Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland will be asked for consent before advertising cookies are used.

Your browser’s storage

The site saves your light or dark mode choice and your accessibility settings (text size, spacing, display, link underlines and animation) in your browser so they’re remembered next time. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.

When you open k-remix.com, we send you to a language version based on the country your connection comes from (Cloudflare provides only the country, which we don’t store). If you pick a language yourself, it’s saved in a cookie named lang for one year so the site opens in that language next time. You can always choose another language at k-remix.com/?choose.

Video players

Song pages show a card for each official music video. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video plays in YouTube’s embedded player from youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode), and YouTube’s privacy policy applies to that player, including any cookies it sets once the video plays.

Pages link to official platforms, channels and shops. When you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies. We don’t use affiliate links yet; if we add them, the shop may set cookies to record the referral, and we will update this page and our affiliate disclosure.

Where information is stored

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and analytics provider (Google) may process information outside Australia, including in the United States.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@k-remix.com. Visitors in the EEA and UK also have the rights to object, restrict processing and complain to their local data protection authority. In Australia you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Children

K-Remix is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We will update this page and its effective date before any change takes effect.
